Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Bell Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Logan officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Ray was born in Fort Cobb, Okla., to L.E. and Nell Walker. She married Henry T. Ray in Amarillo on Oct. 14, 1960. Mrs. Ray worked as a legal secretary for her husband since shortly after their marriage. Before her health declined she took an active role as grandmother and great-grandmother, attending the school functions and sporting events of her grandchildren. Her life revolved around her family. Mrs. Ray was a member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Darlene Petty of Amarillo and Denise Kelly of Borger; a son, Steve Ray of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Joy Bradley of Lockney, Carol Ellis of Huntsville, Ala., and Betty Dietrich of Oklahoma City; a brother, Loyal Walker of Carnegie, Okla.; five grandchildren, Mark Petty, Jamie Kelly, Laurie West, Stephen T.W. Ray and Harley Ray; and six great-grandchildren.
