She was born November 7, 1914, at Heaters, a daughter of the late John L Prince & Alice Brown Prince. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Calvin Douglas in 1949 and second husband Walter W Moats in 1995, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 grandson & 1 granddaughter.
Elsie was a homemaker and a member of the Heaters United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Charlotte Beane of Gassaway; sons, John Douglas (Autha) of Newville, Marlon Moats (Renell) of Sutton and Roger Moats (Cindy) of Spencer; sister, Sara Davis of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers, Willard Prince of Jane Lew and Earl Prince of Heaters; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1PM, Sunday, January 30, 2005 at the Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Cayton officiating. Burial followed in the Heaters Cemetery.
