Donald, age 79, passed away peacefully at his residence in Olivehurst, California on July 14, 2012. Born October 27, 1932 in Hobart, New York. Donald had also lived in Gilbertsville, New York. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1953 – 1960, being honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Donald worked in retail sales, retiring in the early 1990's from Montgomery Ward. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and his home life being around his family. Donald was a past member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his 3 sons, Mitchell McMullen of Olivehurst, California, Michael McMullen of Corning, California and Mark McMullen of Loveland, Colorado; his brother, Mitchell McMullen of New York; 4 sisters, Jane Trask, Carol Perry, Virginia McMullen and Rose Sullivan, all of New York. Donald is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Christopher McMullen, Mathew McMullen, and Shawn McMullen, all of Loveland, Colorado, and Caitlin McMullen of Yuba City, California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances McMullen in 2002.
Cremation is planned at the Sierra View Memorial Park Crematory in Olivehurst, California.
