Myrtle was raised in Minnesota but was known by many friends and neighbors in her Montana communities of Harlem, Libby, and Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Pollard and Orren Welch; her son, Jerry; and one grandson, Tobin. She was survived by two sisters and her remaining six children; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Myrtle passed away on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 in Hamilton, Montana.
