Fannie Hill Barnett was born April 21, 1883, daughter of Isaac Marion Barnett (1841-1923) and Catherine Margaret Click 1842-1926). Fannie had seven siblings: Mary Elizabeth, Thomas Pledger, Cynthia E., William G., Howard Alexander, Louisa Jane, Sarah, and Belle.

The 1900 Federal Census for Justice Precinct 1, Texas (Fannin County) shows Fanny Hill Barnett, age 17, born April 1883, in Georgia; living with her father, Isaac Barnett, a farmer, age 58, born October 1841 in Tennessee; and her mother, Catherine, age 56, born November 1843 in Georgia.

The 1920 Federal Census for Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Fannie Green, age 36, born in Georgia; and her husband, James W. Green, an elevator laborer, age 42, born in Texas. Living with them were three children: Robert Green, age 11; Charlie Green, age 8; and Katherine Green, age 3 years 1 month; all born in Oklahoma.

The 1930 Federal Census for Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Fannie Green, age 46, born in Georgia; and her husband, James W. Green, a milling company employee, age 51, born in Texas. Living with them were three children: Charles Green, a garage truck driver, age 28; Katherine Green, age 12; and Alice Green, age 4; all born in Oklahoma.

Fannie died July 4, 1938 in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) and was buried there in Highland Cemetery.
