Born in Camden, she lived in various places in her early years. She was a longtime resident of the Roebling-Florence area, and then in Browns Mills for 20 years before entering Marcella.
Susan was a homemaker, but in her earlier years, worked at her in-law's business, Panaro's Greenhouses, in Florence.
Over the years she liked gardening, arts and crafts, fishing, and going to the beach at the Jersey shore. She loved nature, and especially anything to do with butterflies.
Susan is survived by her husband of 67 years, Alvin C. Panaro; her daughter, Diana Chiemingo (Richard) of Burlington City, and her son, Brian Panaro (Patty) of Florence. She also is survived by her five grandchildren, Scott, Danny, David, Joseph, and Anthony; and her five great-grandchildren, Angel, Julianna, Danny, Gabriella, and Owen.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence, where relatives and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3 Eves Drive, Marlton, NJ 08053.
