OBITUARY: H. L. CRAWFORD SUCCOMBS TUESDAY

Henry L. Crawford died at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday in a local hospital. He would have been 80 years of age had he lived until March.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in St. James' Episcopal Church. Rev. O. W. Nickle will officiate and burial will be made in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of the Doran Funeral Home. Masons will be in charge of rites at the grave.

Crawford came to Del Rio in 1918 from Springfield, MO. Mrs. Crawford died here in 1929.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dennys Hays of Del Rio and Mrs. J. W. Burke of El Paso, who arrived at 6 p.m. Tuesday, eight grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. The grandchildren are Mrs. V. O. Frasier of Los angeles, Henry Maddox of Los Angeles, Fred Maddox of Troy, N.Y., Mrs. W. E. Weisleman of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Carl Johnson of Pampa, Texas, who will arrive Tuesday night. Miss Joy Hays of San Antonio, Jack Hays and Jimmy Hays of Del Rio.

The brothers are Gus Crawford and Lem Costello of Springfield, Mo; the sister is Mrs. Annie Boone of Rosebud, N.M.

Funeral Notice: DIED, in Del Rio, Texas, Tuesday, January 3, 1950, at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 28 days, H. C. CRAWFORD. Funeral services will be conducted at St. James Episcopal Church at 4:00 P M., Wednesday, January 4, 1950, with the Rev. O. W. Nichol officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully requested to attend these services.

M., and all Master Masons in good standing are invited to meet at Masonic Hall, Wednesday afternoon, January 4, at 3:30 o'clock for the purpose of attending the funeral of our deceased brother, H. C.
