Ardmore — Memorial services for Grady Isaac Davoult, 68, will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012, in the Centennial Chapel of the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy D. Keith Jr. officiating.
The son of the late John Isaac "Ike" Davoult and Fannie Elizabeth (Willingham) Davoult, Grady was born on February 26, 1944, in Lone Grove, Oklahoma, and passed away on August 10, 2012, in the local hospital.
A resident of the Ardmore area all of his life, Grady graduated from Lone Grove High School. His work career began in the oilfields, and then Grady began doing auto body work. While in Fort Worth he worked five years as a painter with Bell Helicopter. After moving back to Ardmore, Grady became the owner and operator of the Broadway Auto Sales. Grady was artistic in nature, he enjoyed writing poems and drawing, but he loved restoring cars and roping. He held numerous bull riding and roping events.
Survivors include his daughters, Alisha Perkins and husband, Grant of Duncan, Okla., Shannon Sternberg and husband, Kenneth of Greenville, S.C., Karyn Garrison and husband, Jason of Lone Grove, Okla., and Candee Campbell of Ardmore, Okla.; grandchildren, Leslie, Justin, Nicholas, Paige, Stefan, Ashlee, Lucas, Dylan, Colt, Jeremy and Johnathon; great grandchildren, Avery and Mylie; mother of his children, Joy Hunt; and a special friend, Linda Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gaylon, Gilbert and Glenn; a daughter, Christina Davoult.
