Kenneth Richard "Dusty" Rhodes passed away June 24, 2001 at his home from a heart attack. He was born April 5, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Joshua and Vesta Rhodes.

Dusty proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II and participated in the Normandy invasion. He drove trucks and worked in security most of his life. He loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine Gordon; sons: David Winters Rhodes and Richard Wesley Rhodes; sisters, Rita Chatwin, Janice Zamora; brother, Gary J. Rhodes; close companion, Kathleen Snyder; and many friends. He is loved and will be missed by all of us.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2001 at 12 noon in Elysian Burial Gardens. (1075 E. 4580 S.) Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Mortuary, Salt Lake City.
