DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. William Hoefner, aged 65, a resident of the town of Newton, passed away
this noon at the hospital here, where she has been a patient. Funeral arrangements
have not been completed, but further announcement will be given Monday. The remains
were removed to the Wattawa and Urbanek parlors.

Funeral Services For Mrs Hoefner To Be Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Wiliam Hoeffner (sic), nee Elizabeth Bremer, pioneer town
of Newton resident who died at the hospital on Saturday will be held from the family
homestead at 1 oclock and from the Lutheran church at Newton at 1:30 oclock on
Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Kionka will officiate at the services at the home, church
and at Evergreen cemetery where interment will take place.
Mrs. Hoeffner was born on January 16, 1865 and was 65 years of age at the time of her
death. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Alfred at the family
homestead and one brother, Simon Bremer town of Manitowoc Rapids.
Death followed the suffering of a stroke.
