Alfred Boeckman, 80, of 1514 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mr. Boeckman was born July 7, 1891, at Manitowoc, son of the late Carl and
Ida Erdman Boeckman. He attended schools at Manitowoc. He married Clara Sperl
Nov. 19, 1913, at Manitowoc. After their marriage they moved to Glendale,
Calif., where he owned and operated the East Side Sheet Metal Works for 15
years. He returned to Manitowoc in 1923 where he was employed at William Rahr
and Sons Sheet Metal until 1948. The couple celebrated its golden wedding
anniversary in 1963. He was a member of Manitowoc Lodge No. 65, and A.M.
Manitowoc Boilermakers Local 516 and Glenndale Chapter 116.
Survivors include his wife and a sister, Miss Evelyn Boeckman, of Manitowoc.
A sister and a brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday where Masonic
service will be at 7:30 p.m.
