His mother died when he was 3 years old.
He was raised by relatives after his father died in 1928.
He was in the military, then married and went into business operating snack & candy machines in Oklahoma City, OK.

JOLLIFF, Carl, died May 10, 1992 in OKC, OK. He was born Sept 22, 1917 in Oilton, OK to Ora and Randall Jolliff. He grew up in the Wynona, OK area and graduated from high school there.
He was a member of the civilian conservation Corp and an active member of the C.C.C. Alumni Assoc.
He then joined the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII.
Mr. Jolliff was the owner of MR&J Brokerage. He sold candy for 45 years and was well known and respected in the business.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason in the SR-oam? Masonic Lodge #276.
He was also a member of the Shriners, and the American Legion. He was a charter member of the Okla. Candy club, and a member of the National Candy Wholesalers Assoc.
Mr. Jollif was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elaine; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Lavonna Jolliff; two granddaughters, Emily and Erica Jolliff, all of Bethany.
Funeral services will be held Tues at 2pm at the Bill Merritt chapel in Bethany,
Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
