Mrs. Lillian Goethe O'Quinn, wife of the late William Mitchell O'Quinn, entered into Heavenly rest to meet up with her dearest Mitchell and Claire on the morning of August 11, 2012, in Beaufort.

Mrs. O'Quinn was born, in Bluffton, November 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Horace Edward Goethe and Martha Beverly Goethe.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Walterboro, where she attended the Miriam Clark Sunday School Class.

Lillian was a devoted wife and mother, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by four daughters: Marlene O. Goodwin (Mackey) of Columbia, Amy O. Drew (Jesse) of Hendersonville, Michele O. James (Randy) of Ridgeland, and Celeste O. McCollum (Bryan) of Walterboro; six grandchildren: Kim G. Spigener (Scott), Mitch Goodwin (Misha), Jesse Drew (Katrina), Heath Drew, Lydia M. Culler (Bax) and Quinn McCollum and four great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a sister Bertha Graves of Beaufort, a brother Dennis "Jiggs" Goethe of Bluffton, a special friend and caregiver Amanda Levant, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. O'Quinn was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Claire O'Quinn.

Funeral services will be held August 13, 2012, at 1:00 in the First Baptist Church of Walterboro, with burial following in the Live Oak Cemetery.
