In the 1920 census, Maurice and his wife were living in Akron Ward 6, Summit County, Ohio. He was listed as, Morse Culler, a carpenter building houses, age 40 born in Maryland, and his wife, Eva Culler, age 41 born in Ohio.

In the 1930 census, Maurice and his wife were still living in Akron, district 89, Summit County, Ohio. He was listed as, Maurice E. Culler, a carpenter in construction, age 50 born in Indiana, and his wife, Eva Culler, age 51 born in Ohio, and their daughter Catherine H. Culler, age 10, born in Ohio.

His death notice in the Frederick Post, Maryland, January 19, 1942.

Maurice E. Culler, 532 Inman Street, Akron, O. Died Wednesday morning at 10:15 o´clock following an illness of more than three years, aged 61 years, 11 months and 5 days. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Johnson Culler, and one daughter, Catherine Vituria, at home; also two sisters and one brother, Mrs. W. Walter Culler, of Walkersville, Mrs. Phillip H. Culler, this city, and Edgar P. Culler, of Feagaville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services and interment will take place Saturday afternoon at three o´clock in Akron.
