Born November 6, 1902 in Parker, Idaho to Otis Scott Rice and Chloe Stoddard Rice. Married George Milton Butler November 6, 1922 in Claresholm, Alberta, Canada. He preceded her in death. Married Bert Quinton May 25, 1950. He preceded her in death. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and an exceptional cook. She loved flowers and gardening. She made beautiful music on the organ. Hers was a life of service.

She is survived by two sons, M. Duane (Helen) Butler, Salt Lake City; Gerald M. (Gladys) Butler, Draper; three daughters, Duenna (Max) Palmer, Hacienda Heights, Calif.; Genevieve (John) Prete, Cardston, Alberta, Canada; Theola (Richard) McCloud, Salt Lake City; 41 grandchildren 124 great-grandchildren; 48 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Idonna Quaster.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma and a son, Marvin (Bill) Butler, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 1, 1994 at 11 a.m., at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment, Mtn View Memorial Estates.
