Marian Piechan, 70, died Friday, September 6, at her home at 8041 Rasche.

She was born November 6, 1920, in Hawks. In 1941 she married Harry Piechan of Rogers City. After his death in 1982, she left her Rogers City residence and returned to Hawks.

Surviving are two daughters, Jean (Mrs. Arthur) Schleber of Hawks, and Judy (Mrs. John) Heis of Ft. Walton, Florida. She is also survived by a stepson, Ken McNealy of Madison Heights; a brother, Anthony Schepke of Warren; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday at Brietzke-Gatzke Funeral Home. The rosary was held Monday night at 7 and the funeral was held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ignatius Church. The Rev. Richard Sitar officiated the service.

Burial was at Mount Calvery Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Ignatius Church or a charity of choice.
