SALINA, Kan. — Clarence LaVerne Gaylord, 84, of Salina died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guymon, Okla., with the Rev. Leroy Pralle of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Salina officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Stratford Cemetery in Stratford, Texas. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
Mr. Gaylord was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Dewey County, Okla., to Chauncey Earle and Edna Mae Mitchell Gaylord. He married Ida Bachman on April 26, 1948.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Hyman
of Smolan and Dixie Beery
of Garden City; six
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Christ the King Lutheran Church or Ottawa County Hospice, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
