Mrs. Owen retired from a career as a nurse's assistant. She worked at Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls and Seven Oaks Nursing Center in Olney. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Newcastle. She moved to Olney in 1977 from Wichita Falls.
Survived by two nephews, three great-nephews; one great-niece.
