Funeral services for Clarence Harrison Minton, 56, who died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon at the family home, 1802 Hines street, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Christian Pilgrim Church, 1010 North Burns street, by the Rev. Owen Sprunger. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Parson mortuary to the home where friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight.
He had been employed as a millwright at the Owens-Illinois glass plant for 20 years, and was a member of the A.F. of L.
Surviving besides the widow, Lula, are six sons, Jacob, Herschel, Clarence, Jr., Charles, James and Sherman, all of Muncie; three daughters, Mrs. Lily Douglas, Mrs. Sarah Kissinger and Miss Mary Minton, all of Muncie; three brothers, Noah of Ansonia, O., Charles of Dayton, O., and Robert of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Mrs. Lily Ritenhouer and Mrs. Elsie Oswalt, both of Ansonia, and Mrs. Margaret Main of Fort Wayne; three half sisters, Mrs. Albert McKibben and Miss Betty Minton, both of Union City, and Mrs. Robert Hale of Greenville, O.; one half brother, Marion Minton of Union City, and four grandchildren.
