Funeral services will be Monday for Adam W. Flaitz, 67, 313 N. Noble St., who died yesterday. Mr. flaitz was apparently stricken about 12:30 p.m. yesterday while walking in the downtown area. He was found lying on Union St. and was taken in the emergency ambulance to Major Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. County Coroner Dr. Lucian Arata said death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Flaitz, who had been ill for several months, lived his entire life at the Noble St. home where he was born April 30, 1895. He was a son of Frank and Ellen(Killorine)Flaitz. Survivors include a brother, Francis o. Flaitz of the same address, and two nieces. Mr. Flaitz was employed as a presser for Plymate Inc., for 23 years. An Army veteran of World War 1, he was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion. The Monday services will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Sleeth Funeral Home with Rev. George Stahl officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery with Eagles Lodge services and American Legion military services at the graveside. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
