Mary (Vinson) Baugher, 88, a life-long resident of Sikeston, died at 1:20 am, Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at the Sikeston Convalscent Center.

She was born September 5, 1923 in Sikeston to the late John Thaddus and Mary Alla (Campbell) Vinson.

On April 13, 1946 she was married to Loy M. Baugher at Benton and he preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1974.

She a member of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Myra Baugher) Gilliland of Sikeston and Dawn (Baugher) Kobiske of Parsons, Tennessee. Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

She wasz preceded in death by 2 sons, Loy Mac Baugher and John Frederick Baugher; by 4 brothers, Ewin Vinson, Samuel Vinson, Don Vinson and Harold Vinson; by 1 sister, Myra (Vinson) Tindal; and by 1 son-in-law, Jeff Kobiske.

Friends may call from 10 am Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 and until time for memorial serviceat 11 am in the Dempster Chapel at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Geoff Posegate, pastor of First United Methodist Church will officiate.
