CLYDE--Allen Manbeck, 93, retired Thompson township farmer, died Thursday night in Biebricher House, Bellevue, where he had been a patient several years. Mr. Manbeck was born June 5, 1877 in Snyder county, Pa, son of Mr and Mrs Daniel H. Manbeck. He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside. He spent his married life in Thompson township. His wife, the former Minnie Swander, died in 1959.
Surviving are sons, Raymond, St Petersburg, Fla, and Irvin of Akron, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harris funeral home, Bellevue, Saturday from 7 to 9 pm. The Rev Ralph Leisher will conduct funeral services Sunday at 2pm in the mortuary with burial in Block cemetery.
