Robert Everett Finley, 42, a life-time resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away December 26, 1973. He was born on June 26, 1931, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Doris Josephine (Moore) Finley-Emmons and Everett Loyed Finley.

On August 22, 1952, he married Glynda Wilburta Thomas in Norfolk, VA.

He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Robert was a member of North Star Lodge 227 AF&AM, Scottish Rite, Shriner, and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Glynda Wilburta (Thomas); his two sons, Jeffrey Loyd Finley and Robert "Bruce" Finley; his brother, George Harold Finley of Anaheim, CA; and Terry Jones of Lincoln, NE.
