Mrs. Mary Ruth Adams Craig, age 90 of Cleveland passed away on Friday, June 08, 2007 at the Lanier Park Campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born in White County, Georgia on September 15, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Linton Herschel and Sallie Thurmond Adams. Mrs. Adams worked in the textile industry for many years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gayle Bennett, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brothers, Roy Adams, Herbert Adams, J.C. Adams, L.G. Adams, Wallace Adams, sisters, Frances Allen, and Ina Marks.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Seabolt, Jefferson; sons and daughter-in-laws, Kenneth and Sallie Manus, Franklin, NC; Steve and Pam Craig, Gainesville; sisters, Ellen Tate, Jefferson; Sarah Baker, Cleveland; brother-in-law, William Lovic Allen, Cleveland, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Yonah Baptist Church Cemetery.
