Rheda Hembree

CLAYTON, Ga. - Rheda Wilson Hembree, 76, of the Warwoman Community, Route 1, Clayton, Saturday, May 20, 1995, in Rabun County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Bryson City, N.C., she was a homemaker and a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, G.C. Hembree of Cleveland, Ga., Charlie Hembree of Clayton, Harold Hembree of Tiger and Hoyt Hembree of Cumming; daughters, Barbara Bramblett, Joanne Chappell and Carlene Sheffield of Clayton, Susie Dockins of Dawsonville, Katie Moore of Westminster, S.C. and Melinda Matthewson of Long Creek, S.C.; a brother, Raymond Wilson of Nantahala, N.C.; a sister, Lenora Bowers of High Point, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Arthur M. Hembree and was the daughter of the late George and Isabelle Passmore Wilson.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Battle Branch Baptist Church by the Revs. Paul Bryson and Olan Carnes; burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
