Pauline Boots Pigmon, age 86 of Batesville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at her son's home in Batesville. Born on February 24, 1926 in Corbin Glow, KY, she was the daughter of Desta Back. In March of 1985 she married Eather Pigmon in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pauline was a very faithful member of the Batesville Baptist Church which she loved very much. She was the last of the founding members of the church. She retired from Batesville Casket Company, after working there for many years.
She will be dearly missed by her children E. Edward Pigmon, Tim P. Pigmon (Carolyn), and Harry R. Pigmon (Gwendola) and also by her 6 grandchildren, Art & Scott Pigmon, Greg & Nick Pigmon and Rachel & Sarah Pigmon, along with 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter, Desta Pigmon, son, Vernon Dale Pigmon and five brothers and sisters.
Visitation, Thursday, 4-7pm at Batesville Baptist Church, 1170 State Road 229, Batesville, IN with Funeral Services on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:00am. Pastor Roger Bates officiating with burial to follow at the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point, IN.
