DUBLIN-Funeral services for Mrs Ruby H. Rhodes of 603 North Franklin St., were held this morning in Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Burial was in Westview Cemetery in Moultrie.
Mrs Rhodes died Wednesday morning in a local hospital after an illness of two months.
A native of Worth County, Mrs. Rhodes was the daughter of the late Benjamin Andrew Hobby and Mary Whitley Hobby. She was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, E. C. Rhodes, Sr. of Dublin; three sons, Clayton Rhodes, Jr. of Lawrenceville, Kenneth Rhodes of Chico, Calif. and Ben Rhodes of Decatur; one daughter, Mrs Mildred R. Cook of Vermillion, Kan.; 10 grandchildren, a great grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. W. M. Boyd of Dublin, Mrs. R. E. Daniel of Waycross, Mrs. J. E. Davenport of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Emmett Plumlee of Nashville, Tenn., and a brother, B. A. Hobby, Jr. of Decatur.
