New of Today in Marion: Mrs. Fiducia M. Affolter, wife of W.H. Affolter, aged 71 years, 9 months, 11 days, died at her home two miles south of Marion, Thursday at 5:30 a.m. after a year's illness. Besides her husband, she leaves five daughters, Mrs. L.A. Frohmander, near Marion; Mrs. L. Bridgeman, Marion; Bertha May, Edith Ola and Mabel Leola at home. One brother, (can't read), lives near Springville, Iowa. One sister, Mrs. Emma Wood, lives at Toledo, Oregon and another Mrs. Anna Newlan, at Lovington, Illinois. Mrs. Affolter lived near Cedar Rapids for thirty-five years, and in the present home for six years. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The funeral of Mrs. Affolter of near Marion, will be held at the Kenwood Park Seventh Day Adventist church at 2 p.m. today. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Elder J.C. Clemens of Dubuque will have charge of the service.
