Ronald Loveless, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 4 in Baytown, Texas. Ron was born August 12, 1941 in Honeyflat, Texas to Vernon and Beulah Loveless. After graduating from high school, Ron attended North Texas State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. In 1964 Ron married Janice Miller, a union that would last some 48 years.

Ron loved to fix things, anything. From lawn mowers and golf carts, to computers and tractors, you name it he found it and fixed it. He often referred to himself as a modern day Sanford and Son (it was after all his cell phone ring-tone). Ron was the "go to guy" to all. Family, friend or even a stranger, he would help anyone. Ron's joy of repair was even reflected in his job at Goose Creek ISD as the Director of Maintenance. Ron was an active member of Baker Road Baptist Church in Baytown where he was a deacon. He was often credited with rebuilding the church after it was devastated by Hurricane Ike in 2008. Above all, Ron loved his family, especially his 4 grandchildren who lovingly called him Pops.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Linda Loveless.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Baker Road Baptist Church in Baytown. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Garden of Memory Cemetery in Hillsboro, TX.
