George F. Angstadt, 70, of 44 Noble St., Kutztown, died yesterday in the Allentown Hospital. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Frederick and Florence (Stricker) Angstadt. A veteran of World War I, he was employed at the Kutztown Foundry until he retired. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown. .

Surviving are his widow, Isabella E. (Bailey) Angstadt; a son, George F. Jr., of Hamburg R. 2; a daughter, Hilda I. F., wife of Kenneth Mertztown, of Fleetwood R. 1; a stepson, Mervin Gehringer, of Kutztown; two brothers, Mathias of Fleetwood and Claude of Philadelphia, and 13 grandchildren. .

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Fritz & Kendall Funeral Home, Kutztown. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.
