"Mrs. Lena Chesebro, 64, died at the home of her son, Louis Bellamy, about a mile from Brookfield, Easter Sunday night. She was born in Brookfield April 24, 1868, and lacked but eight days of becoming 65 years old. She had been a life-long resident of Brookfield and attendant of the Baptist Church. She married George Bellamy, who died in 1894. About 1898 she married M. J. Chesebro, who died in 1916. Mrs. Chesebro is survived by one son of her first marriage, Louis Bellamy, Brookfield. She is also survived by four sons, Orthella, Wilfred, Marcelle and Martin Chesebro, all of Brookfield, and three daughters, Mrs. Hattie Battles and Mrs. Helen Randall, both of Scranton, Pa. and Mrs. Almeda McFarland, Cleveland, O., and nine grandchildren. The funeral was held from the home of her son, Louis Bellamy, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Interment will be made in Brookfield Cemetery."
