Funeral services for Edward Martin Chace, 81, of 900 S. K St., San Bernardino, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Emmerson's Valley Mortuary, with Elder Ansel Bristol, pastor of the Colton Seventh-day Adventist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rialto Park Cemetery.
Chace, a native of Portsmouth, R. I., and resident of San Bernardino one year and of Rialto 35 years, died Thursday in San Bernardino.
Survivors included the widow, Mrs. Julia F. Chace; three daughters, Mrs. E. B. Hartman of San Bernardino; Mrs; C. E. Harlow of Loma Linda and Mrs. R. E. Rothe of Banning; two sons, Clark E. Chace of San Bernardino and Hubert M. Chace of Tillamook, Ore.; one brother; William H. Chace; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Ashley and Mrs. Emily Chace, all of Rhode Island; 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
