INTERMENT IS TO BE AT THE COLONY TODAY
Word was received here yesterday of the death of Mrs Mary A. Carpenter, a well known and respected resident of Rialto, at Los Angeles.
The remains will he taken to Rialto today, arriving at 6:30 and be taken at once to the cemetery for Interment. Services will be conducted at the grave by Rev. Porter, pastor of the Espiscopal church in Redlands.
The decedent was the wife of E. B. Carpenter.

Mary Ann Chapple was born in March 1833 in Devon, England. She married Edward B. Carpenter on August 14, 1885, in Beloit, Wisconsin. They had two daughters during their marriage. She died on August 3, 1905, in San Bernardino County, California, at the age of 72, and was buried in Rialto, California.
