Eckhart--Mrs. Janet G. Kidwell, 87, of here, was dead on arrival today at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. A native of here, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Rachel (Eckhart) Gracie. Her husband, John H. Kidwell, preceded her in death. Mrs. Kidwell was a member of Eckhart Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Kidwell, Shreveport, La., John Lee Kidwell, here; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Stewart, here; Miss Rachel Kidwell, at home; a sister, Mrs. Annie Groter, here; a half-sister, Mrs. William Twigg, here; a half-brother, Robert Strachan, Denver, Colo., and a number of grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
