Warnell Gleason "Mac" MacNaughtan, 86, of Lehi, died December 11, 2004.

He was born March 8, 1918, in Heber City, Utah, son of James and Emily Howarth MacNaughtan.

Mac graduated from Wasatch High School with his classmates of 1936. As a young man, he worked in the Park City Mines and for the Park City Cleaners. Later, he worked with structural steel as an ironworker and was a member of Ironworkers Local 27, for 60+ years.

He was proud of his trade and his associations with his "Iron-buddies." He loved his garden.

His testimony of the gospel was strong and constant. He was a man of great love and spirit. He was sensitive to the needs of others, a loving husband and father.

Mac is survived by his son, James; two daughters, Bonnie and Brenda, of Utah; his son, David LaMont; daughter, Mary Elizabeth, of Fresno, California. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 7 step-children, 28 step-grandchildren, 1 step great-grandson.

Mac was preceded in death by his second wife, Shirley; son, Sonny, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Diana; his nieces, nephews, and cousin, Zella Mair, and many members of his large family; and, Ida and Inky, his two pampered cats.

Funeral, Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the Lehi Utah Stake Center at 200 North Center Street. Friends and family may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.; and, Wednesday, at the church one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.
