Azalea Cisson Strickland, 74, beloved wife for 50 years of John Strickland, passed away at home on August 31, 2009.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William Franklin and Alma Estelle Holliday Cisson.
Surviving are two children, Laura Morrison and her husband, Kevin, of Taylors, and Jonathan Strickland and his wife, Marie, of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter-in-law, Mary Strickland of Greenville; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Lee Strickland of Taylors; a sister, Lottaree Mashburn of Tabor City, N.C.; two nieces and one nephew, Melonie Lawton of Tabor City, N.C., Allison Turner of Travelers Rest and Ronnie D. Arrowood of Charlotte, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Vera Arrowood of Charlotte, N.C.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2009, at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
