Daniel E. Roach Dies
Former Resident Of Oberlin Passes Away At Buhl, Ida.; Body Being Returned Here
------

A telegram received Tuesday noon advised Mike Roach that his father, Daniel E. Roach, had passed away at his home in Buhl, Idaho, Tuesday morning. The message also advised that the body is being returned to Oberlin, where funeral rites and burial will be held.

"Dan" Roach, as he was well known here for many years, left Oberlin about ten years ago, moving to Buhl, Idaho, where he remarried and has since made his home. Had he lived two more weeks he would have been 80 years of age.

For many years Mr. Roach operated a hide and fur market here, and he was widely and favorable known to many person throughout the county, all of whom will regret his passing. His first wife and son Frank, preceded him in death, the former many years ago. Mike Roach, here, and his widow are the only immediate survivors.

Funeral arrangements had not been made as the Herald went to press, but an obituary will be published in these columns next week.
