Born July 31, 1924 at Cuba, Missouri to the union of William and Zora (nee: Chewning) Markley and left from this life on Saturday, August 04, 2012 at Cuba Manor at the age of 88 years.
Doras was united in marriage to Edward L. Jennings on May 30, 1947 at St. Louis, Missouri and to this union three children were born; Mike, John and Shelly. She was a long time member of Trinity Chapel and spent her life taking care of her home, her family and enjoyed spending time with her dogs. What she truly enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends.
Doras was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Zora Markley, husband Edward L. Jennings, three brothers Cecil, Dallas and Charles Markley, brother-in-law Roy Moschetto and other relatives and friends.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her children Mike and wife Julie Jennings of Cuba, John and wife Debbie Jennings of Union and Shelly Bell of Sullivan, five grandchildren Roy, Crystal, Jessi, Karen and Bryan, two sisters Mildred Moschetto and Ada Maxfield both of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
