By 1930, Adelia is living with her son, Albert, and his wife, Ruth O. in Lassen County. By the 1940 census, Adelia had moved in with her brother, Frank, and their nephews, Robert and Frank Sloan, in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada where she died. She is buried in the family plot between her mother and nephew Robert.
