Eliza married James D.KNIFFEN in Hamilton Co. IL. {James D. KNIFFEN, was born in 1845 in either NY or OHIO: Son of David KNIFFEN and Wife Mariah(whom both were born in Delaware Co., NY, then moved to Delaware County, Ohio in mid 1840's, then settled in Jefferson Co., IL in early 1850's.)} Eliza & James 's Children : Henry "Homer" D. KNIFFEN, Frank Marion KNIFFEN, and Loran Rogers KNIFFEN. Eliza Died in 1876/77. Her Widowed Husband then married Nelly Elzora SCRIVNER on 20 May 1877 in Jefferson Co., IL. {Note: Nelly "Elzora" was born abt. 1853 and Daughter of William SCRIVNER and Margaret DANIEL AND Also NOTE, Nelly "Elzora" SCRIVNER was previously married to James Monroe GALBRAITH on 26 Sep 1872 in Jefferson Co., IL.} James & Elzora's Children: William Chalon KNIFFEN, Norman Ed KNIFFEN, and a Daughter Lee Anne KNIFFEN ( Who married Riley BOSWELL{ a Chief Telegraph Operator for the R.R.} and made their home in Memphis,TN I have been unable to find When Eliza's Husband, James D. KNIFFEN or HIS second Wife, Nelly "Elzora" SCRIVNER died or is Buried.
