Addie was the daughter of Charlie J. Christie and Mary Elizabeth Ogburn Christie. Her first marriage was to Elvis "Fuzz" Markham. Together they had two children :Belva b.13 Nov.1937 and Robert b.22 Aug.1939. Her 2nd marriage was to James Monroe Tyre. They lived on St. Johns St. near the watertower at the time of her death. She died suddenly at home. Addie was an active member of the Lake City Church of God just a few blocks from her home. She worked at Bruce's Clothing Store in Lake City as a seamstress for many years.
