The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, Alabama November 6, 1969: Joe D. Lamb, 65, of 2033 Lavert St., died Wednesday afternoon at Huntsville Hospital. A funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Richard Rice officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian B. Lamb; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Cathren; three sons, Earl Lamb, Jack Lamb, and Joseph Lamb; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Graham, Mrs. Mamie Jones, Mrs. Kathleen Trigg, and Miss Larine Lamb; three brothers, Robert Lamb, John Ed Lamb and James S. Lamb; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Campbell, and six grandchildren, all survivors are from Huntsville. The body will be at the funeral home until time for the funeral.
