Adrian's body was never recovered. He was lost at sea in the English Channel, Normandy Beach, France. He is listed on the Tablets of The Missing at Normandy American Military Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France

U.S. Army 465th Ordnance Evacuation Company. Adrian was killed during the post D Day invasion of France. Paris was liberated on August 25, 1944.
