Aurora Grace Pritchard, 87, of Stroudsburg, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, at Pocono Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Russell G. Pritchard for 52 years.

Born on Jan. 8, 1917, in Reeders, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. Woolbert and Tililah (Meckes) Woodling Woolbert.

Aurora did private duty nursing in the East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg areas for many years. She graduated from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School for Nurses in Philadelphia as an RN, in 1938. She was a member of the Alumni Association of Nurses.

A graduate of Pocono Township High School, in 1934, she was a member of Reeders United Methodist Church, and attended Wesleyan Church in Stroudsburg.

Surviving are daughters, Cheryl D. Pritchard of Stroudsburg, and Cecilia G. Taylor and her husband Robert of Mount Bethel; grandchildren, Jennifer G. Tomasello and her husband Paul of Mount Bethel, and Wesley R.P. Taylor and his wife Jackie of Easton; great-grandchildren, Erin Tomasello and Matthew Tomasello of Mount Bethel; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by six brothers; and six sisters.
