Charles Huyck, of Newberry, was killed at Westover, Clearfield County, on Friday last while engaged in assisting to unload a piano from a wagon. A locomotive whistle caused the horses hitched to the wagon to make a jump forward and hurl the piano to the ground. In its descent it hit young Huyck on the head with such force as to cause almost instantaneous death. He was 28 years old on the 17th of last month. His funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the residence of his brother-in-law, A.W. Hartman, 111 High Street, Newberry. The attendance was very large.
