Marjoria was born to Paul Russell and Arna O. (Hersberger) Sheller probably in the Lapel, Indiana area. In 1930 she was living on a farm with her parents in Wayne Township, Hamilton County, Indiana. She went to work at Guide Lamp in Anderson during the war and was employed there for 30 years.
On Sept. 3, 1950 she married one of her former classmates, Donald Lee Carey. She was a member of Prairie Baptist Church. She and Donald had three daughters and one son.
