Loretta Maxine Shaull was born near Keswick, Iowa on September 30, 1924 the daughter of Isaac and Ethel Coghlan Bair. She graduated from the Keswick High School and later married Milford Shaull on November 18, 1942. While still in school Loretta won several spelling bees. She was a dedicated and devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. After her childdren left home Loretta began volunteering one day a week at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. She continued her volunteer effort for twenty-one years. Loretta was a member of the United Methodist Church in Keswick and Martha's Circle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Milford; a son, Kevin Shaull; two sister: Gladys Spence and Ellen Bauer; seven brothers: Ward Bair, Bruce Bair, Clifford Bair, Kenneth Bair, Fleming Bair, Melvin(Tub)Bair and Glen Fitzwater.
Loretta is survived by two sons: Roger(Susie)Shaull of Climax Springs, MO and Brian(Lani)Shaull of Keswick; her two daughters: Nancy(Dan)Richie of Carlisle and Shelley(Mike)Kirby of Oskaloosa; a daughter-in-law, Debb Shaull of Sigourney and a sister Evelyn Claypool of Mountain Home, AR. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
