Harry Addison "Bud" Siler, 73, drove his last load down the road on July 30, 2012. Bud was born on January 8, 1939 to the late Chester and Pauline Deaver Siler. He was a long time resident of Natural Bridge and the owner of H.A. Siler Trucking, which has survived and thrived for 50 years with three Siler generations. Bud was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Buchanan. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by a special uncle, Addison Siler and wife, Cornelia; as well as a son, Richard Lee Siler.
Surviving him are wife and best friend, Shirley Coffey Siler, of 55 years; two sons, Jacob Siler and wife, Sue Ann, Richard Siler and wife, Debra; four grandchildren, Joseph Siler and wife, Jessica, Melissa Siler Burgess and husband, Kevin, Addison and Patrick Siler; two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Averie Mae Siler; and one special daughter-in-law, Pamela S. Linkenhoker. He is also survived by many special brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews of the Coffey family.
Bud was blessed with many close friends and employees at H.A. Siler Trucking. He was loved, respected, adored and will be greatly missed by all who knew him including his dog, Katie.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel, with the Pastor Doris Hedrick officiating. Burial to follow at High Bridge Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 37, Buchanan, VA 24066. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
