CONNEAUT — Michael Lee Evans, age 45, formerly of Conneaut, Ohio, died Saturday evening, July 28, 2012.

Born on Jan. 5, 1967, in Conneaut, Ohio, he was the son of Theodore and Concetta (Morano) Evans Sr. and a 1986 graduate of Conneaut High School.

Mike went on to work for the Horton Wilbert Vault Company for over 16 years. He also worked for Lincoln Electric as a welder and for CSP in production. Mike was currently employed with A. Louis Supply Company as a welder.

Mike was a member of St. Mary/St. Frances Cabrini Parish. He used to enjoy playing shortstop for Dr.. FeelGoods and Neal's Night Moves Lounge softball teams. Mike was a huge fan of the rock band "KISS" and he attended several of their concerts. He loved to ride his motorcycles and Halloween was a favorite time of his. Mike was great with children, he loved all kids and especially his own. He was proud of his Italian heritage and his grandparents. He loved to make his famous oil and spaghetti, no sauce.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Versal and Georgia Evans; and maternal grandparents, Fred and Colleen Morano.

Mike is survived by two children, Zachary Evans of Lakewood and Alyssa (Evans) and Shawn McCure of Orlando, Fla.; his fiancée, Tina Carducci, and her two children, Tony and Gabriella Carducci; two brothers, Theodore and Debbie Evans Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C., and Anthony and Krissy Evans of Conneaut; two sisters, Victoria and Robert Sharp of Conneaut and Nancy and Glen Henson of Conneaut; nieces and nephews, Ginny, Phoenix, Dominic, Lyric, Pearl, Lillian, Emily, Olivia, Jasmine and Shelley Brown; and great-nephews, Bryson Lee Sharp Vance Brown and Gunner Michael Theodore Fletcher.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, August 2nd, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Friday, August 3rd, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill St., Conneaut, with Father Phillip Miller presiding.

Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut, at a later date at the convenience of the family.
