CARTERET - Stephen Pallagi, 76, of 28 Hudson Street died February 12 at the Amboy General Hospital. He was a retired employee of the U. S. Metals Refining Co., Carteret, after 45 years of service.
Mr. Pallagi was born in Hungary and had resided in Carteret for 47 years. He was a member of the U. S. Metals Refining Co. 25-year Club. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World, Camp 89 and the William Penn Association. He was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church.
Husband of the late Mrs. Ida Molnar Pallagi, he is survivied by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Kalas of the above address and two grandsons.
Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue and at 9:30 A.M. at the Hungarian Reformed Church with Rev. Dr. Andrew Harsanyi officiating. Interment was in Hungarian Reformed Cemetery, Hopelawn.
